Interesting thoughts here... love as an addiction, painted as a poison. Maybe not literally lethal, but it definitely ends our old way of life - killing us and bringing us to a beautiful afterlife together. Yet at the same time, killing us through sheer longing when we are apart.
Great poetry. I loved it
